![]() How about doing a website poll with some practical solutions and let the customer base vote on it? Maybe putting the whole gallery up in flickr or similar - just out in the ether. I am sure some creative solution can be sought. I dont think any customers expect a new company to just run with the old just because. What I think you may be missing is a thing called loyalty and respect to long time customers who value the huge creative value of an existing body of work created by Design Team members but importantly - created by YOUR CUSTOMERS and THEIR SHARED COLLECTIVE.! QK customers were very loyal and patient from what I have read about so please just don't dismiss the old. I do expect something akin to the old gallery on LC for the future though and cross my fingers! I get the separation of the old brand and the new brand. You will lose me quickly on this FB / Gallery aspect. Constructive critisism? FB while massively popular is not for me. (I have yet to look around the site, as I came straight to the blog). Lorraine posted on Friday, Janu6:53:44 AM America/DenverĬongrats on the new site and the blog. For now, please use the Facebook page to show us your new projects. While we understand that you want to see the old dies on the site, they will not be a part of the Lifestyle Crafts brand moving forward. FYI, the QK site and community gallery will remain up for the next couple of months while we work out a strong solution to integrate this feature to the new site. Lifestyle Crafts posted on Wednesday, Janu10:13:33 AM America/DenverĮllen, Thank you for the feedback! We appreciate hearing from you and want to make the site a great resource for our customers. I am always inspired and learn new things from the posters, please, please consider revising this site and bring back our die resources as well as our community gallery!!!!!! Please know this is meant as constructive criticism from a loyal customer, not as a complaint as I love all that you make from dies to machines to my Letterpress.ģ. I am on a design team and post in both places. ![]() I strongly encourage you to extract the best parts of the original site and integrate them here. This new site may be new and fresh, but getting rid of the old isn't always for the best. I have to strongly agree again with Ellen about the resources lost when looking at ALL dies. I absolutely loved seeing work from my fellow QK-aholic friends! We all learn so much from each other. ![]() ![]() I don't want to have to log into FB each time I want to see posts. Most of all, I will miss the community gallery. Although the new site is fresh and attractive, it lacks what we have all come to expect from a visit to the QK site, which was chuck full of resources. Sue posted on Wednesday, Janu8:52:02 AM America/Denver I will now be very hesitant to buy any dies in the future.Ģ. This WONDERFUL resource is gone - such a disappointment to your customers. Why can't QK.com remain or be integrated with this site? or keep QK.com could WITHOUT the buying option. I just purchased something like this on Ebay that was printed in 2005. (I am new to QK and QK.com was so helpful for me.) If there was some kind of reference book available with the QK dies up to the current date, now that would be helpful. This website (Lifesytle crafts) isn't helpful at all with retired dies. I checked this site before I purchased items from either an on-line store or ebay to see what kind of projects have been made with the die. I used the QK.com website almost daily to view both current and past dies for ideas. While I won't disagree that this is a really great looking site, I am still very disappointed. Ellen posted on Wednesday, Janu7:31:02 AM America/Denver In this way, all viewers will see the comments and perhaps others might make their own thoughts known, too.ġ. I would suggest making your comments at the above link in addition to or instead of sending them an email. Things cannot be changed overnight and one person cannot make a decision immediately but responding to our concerns right away shows dedication to the customers.īelow are comments and Lifestyle's responses. It shows their concern even if it might not directly answer anything, which is very understandable. It appears that Lifestyle is answering comments on their blog, too, which is very good. (Sorry, but I don't know how to add the "link" for the "did you see" topic.) However, I wanted to REALLY bring this to the attention of anyone viewing by having a separate subject. Please see subject "did you see" posts here where others are commenting about this. It goes directly to the comments on the new Lifestyle Crafts blog. Unable to view photos of the retired or current dies. Are you unhappy with the way the Quickutz website is now? Resources lost.
