I know I was anti Win 10, but it IS kind of nice, and my HP AIO works so well with Win10, my wife has decided to retire her. However my experience that taking advantage of the free Win10 upgrade did resolve the issue. For Win 7 users, I think there is at least some chance of the problem occurring. I also upgraded the old pc (an HP AIO wi i7 2600 CPU 8GB Ram, Win 7 home, and nVidia display card w/ 512 mb on board ram) to Win 10 and the problem disappeared on that machine as well.įor Win 10 users, I don't think there is a significant chance of a problem. The fact that the problem is relatively recent, but that Tech Support WAS able to reproduce the problem, to me, anyway indicates that the problem was introduced to one of the recent builds and is unique to Win 7. I believe the problem is unique to either Win7 (I was using Win7 home), or possibly the barely adequate display card (512 mb ram). I can not repeat the problem any longer on the New PC. I recently purchased a new Lenovo desktop with WIN10, 12 GB memory, and a video card with 2 GB on board ram, and I I have spent the last four days making sure everything works.
